Saurabh comes from a family where music wasn’t a hobby, but a way of life. With a father and grandfather who were professional Indian classical musicians, melodies filled his world from the very beginning. Rhythm was something he understood before words. At the age of four, he began his journey with the tabla—unknowingly taking his first steps into a lifelong relationship with music. Over the years, that relationship deepened as he explored the guitar, drums, and keyboard, learning not just instruments, but discipline, emotion, and expression.

His school and college years were spent playing with multiple bands—performing, collaborating, and discovering the power of music to bring people together. These experiences shaped his versatility and nurtured a deep respect for artists across genres and cultures.

In 2013, at just 14, electronic music entered his world—and changed it forever. It opened a new universe where emotion met energy, and technology met soul. From that moment, his admiration expanded beyond genres—he fell in love with music itself and the people who create it.

Even while pursuing a career as a software engineer, music never left him. It remained quietly persistent, waiting for the right moment. In 2025, Saurabh became SØRB—and officially began his journey as a DJ.

What followed was nothing short of surreal.

Soon after starting, he began performing at clubs, cafés, college festivals, and private events. He became a resident DJ at Valhalla Lounge, played at Blue Tokai’s flagship store in Dehradun, and performed at Rishihood University’s Damru Fest in front of 2000+ students. He also performed at the launch party of the luxury property Saratoga, along with numerous cafés, clubs, and curated private events.

His sound today moves fluidly across EDM, House, Melodic Techno, and Dubstep—but at its core, it is driven by feeling. SØRB believes music has the power to heal, to connect, and to make the world a better place, even if just for a moment.
